Where to Watch the Big Game

Super Bowl Sunday in Long Beach offers plenty of ways to watch beyond your living room. QUEEN MARY

Spend Super Bowl Sunday doing something a little different: catching the game aboard the Queen Mary (1126 Queen’s Hwy) during its Final Kickoff watch party. The event starts at 3 PM with kickoff shown on the big screen inside one of the ship’s historic salons. Admission is $10 and includes ship access, so you can explore before settling in for the game. SHANNON’S CORNER

Shannon’s At The Top (105 W Broadway) will be showing the game on a massive 20-foot projection screen with additional screens, stadium-style seating and a powerful sound system so you won’t miss a moment. Tickets include access to a BBQ-style buffet with signature dishes and a full bar offering cocktails, beer, themed Jell-O shots and Big Game drink specials. Stick around for halftime raffles and giveaways surrounded by a lively crowd ready for kickoff. THE AULD DUBLINER IRISH PUB

Watch America’s Big Game in Long Beach’s authentic Irish pub. Start your pregame early at Watch Me! Sports Bar (6527 E Pacific Coast Hwy), which will kick off its festivities at 12 noon with music by DJ Daffodilli, a buffet and drink specials like $25 pitchers of beer and $20 bottomless mimosas, giveaways and prizes. The fun continues all night with a photo booth and post-game dance music. Reservations are recommended for parties of four or more.

DAVE & BUSTERS

Watch the game and play a few yourself at Dave & Busters. Located in the Long Beach Towne Center (7575 Carson St), this lively 41,000-square-foot space features a sports bar, arcade and restaurant. With over 180 games from skeeball to VR and a huge 40-foot-wide ultra-HD LED screen, you’ll catch every play in style. Enjoy great food like wings, burgers, and loaded nachos alongside ice-cold beers, cocktails, and plenty of drinks.

SHENANIGANS IRISH PUB & GRILLE

Don’t miss a single second of action as you watch the game on one the 14 TVs at Shenanigans (423 Shoreline Village Dr., Suite A), while also enjoying some of the best views of the Long Beach waterfront. Catch every big play of the Big Game at Legends (5236 E 2nd St)–America’s first modern sports bar. The game will be shown on numerous TVs as well as the bar’s massive, wall-wide projection screen for an immersive viewing experience. Known for its incredible wings—from original buffalo to Thai sweet chili and habanero—Legends also has exceptional burgers, pub grub and a full bar to keep the crowd happy. Look for great food and drink specials the day of the game.

TELEFÈRIC BARCELONA

Telefèric Barcelona, located at 2nd & PCH (6480 Pacific Coast Hwy) is offering multiple ways–and places–to enjoy their crave-worthy eats and sips. The Game Bomb—a crispy potato stuffed with rich beef ragout and served with birria dip—is available for dine-in or to-go, Feb. 5 to 8, while the Road to Glory Cocktail is a gold-dusted Old Fashioned. If you’re hosting at home, their Super Bowl Special Pack, available Feb. 2 to 8, feeds a crowd with four large trays of patatas bravas, tuna tacos, pollo empanadas and ham croquetas.

SPEAK CHEEZY

Speak Cheezy (3950 E 4th St) which is taking pre-orders for their par-baked Super Bowl menu. Enjoy fresh, hot, crispy pizza at home with par-baked pizzas that are partially baked in-store and then finished in your oven at home; no soggy slices, just perfect for game day. Orders are being accepted now through Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 12 PM, with pickup on Sunday, Feb. 8 between 8:30–11:30 AM in three timed blocks. Pizzas come unsliced with finishing instructions. If you miss the pre-order menu, Speak Cheezy will be open from 12-9 PM on Sunday with a Super Bowl menu of pizza favorites and specials as well as an extended offering of wing flavors and dipping sauces.
